Apply for your spot at the Adventure Photography Workshop, hosted by Summit Workshops

PhotoShelter, who supports people and organizations who create and share visual stories, is excited to grant one lucky emerging photographer a spot at the Adventure Photography Workshop, hosted by Summit Photography Workshops.

Taking place September 17-22, 2016 in Jackson, Wyoming, this six day workshop will offer up firsthand exposure to photographers and editors from National Geographic, Red Bull, The North Face, and more. You’ll dig into every aspect of adventure photography, from outdoor sports photography to product and outdoor commercial shoots to the business side of things -- all with Jackson, Wyoming as your backdrop. The scholarship includes:

• A spot at the Adventure Photography Workshop

• 5 nights at the Snow King Resort Hotel

• A free PhotoShelter Pro account for one year

To qualify, participants must be working photographers who have been shooting professionally (i.e. being paid for their work) for eight years or less.

To apply, submit up to a 300 word essay that:

• Describes your academic/photographic accomplishments

• States your goals for your photography career

• Explains why attending the Adventure Photography Workshop will help you achieve your goals

• A link to your online portfolio

• Please also include: Your name, where you live, your age, and the year you began shooting professionally.

All submissions should be sent to [email protected] no later than MIDNIGHT ET on August 26, 2016. Recipients will be notified on August 31, 2016. Note:  If you have already registered for the event, you are still eligible! We will take care of reimbursements if provided with receipts.
